Loch Sneosdal

This hidden gem of a loch sits at the base of

Craig Sneosdal with its steep crags and occasionally Ravens and Eagles flying overhead.

It is accessed via a signposted footpath from  Herbusta or by walking up the stone track from the corner between the Kilmuir Hall road and Herbusta.

Ideal picnic spot with generally not a sole in site. You can look over to the top of the Quiraing or north to the deserted village of

Lachasay and beyond.
